Money Back Guarantee Terms & Conditions
To return a product and receive a refund under this Guarantee the following procedures and terms and conditions must be adhered to:
Contact us within 14 days:
You must contact our office via email on info@australiansecuritysystems.com.au within 14 calendar days of delivery of your product.
We will instruct on how to return:
We will provide directions for the return of the product. The customer is to return at their own cost.
Return within 14 days:
You must then return the product as per our admins directions within 14 days of us giving you the go ahead. You must include a copy of your invoice and reason for return.
Products returned have to be in 'as new' condition:
Product must be returned unopened, unused, not worn or damaged, intact with all components and accessories, labels, and manuals, in all its original internal and external packaging in a 100% re-sealable condition. Do not write on or stick anything on the product or its packaging. Please only write or place postage stickers on the outer postage packaging. If there is evidence of the PIRs or door/window sensors being attached to the wall, door or window there will be costs for batteries and screw replacements. If there are any marks on any components there will be costs to repair.
You are responsible for items in transit:
Items in transit back to our warehouse are at your risk so please ensure they are securely packed and returned safely. The items must be bubble wrapped together so that the loose items are not rattling around during transit. We will not be responsible for any return items lost or damaged in transit under this Guarantee. We will assess the condition of the product before approving a refund. Any damages may involve charges.
We refund the purchase price less our Delivery Costs:
Where the terms and conditions of this Guarantee have been met, we will approve a refund and will send an email confirming this. If we do not approve your request for a refund the Product will be returned back to you at our cost along with a written response as to why we declined to approve your request for a refund. We will refund the purchase price of the returned product less its delivery costs and any charges that may be applicable to the above terms not being met. Refunds will be processed within 15 business days from us receiving the package. The customer will be provided with e-mail acknowledgement once the refund is paid.
We will not accept:
If at anytime we have a sale, this money back guarantee will not allow customers to return the system to then purchase again at the sale price.
After the 14 day period:
We will not exchange for change of mind after this time. If you change your mind, or will not let our team troubleshoot with you we will not refund. If you let our team troubleshoot with you and go through everything and still cant get you going, you have the option to send the entire system back to us (at your cost) - including all packaging and accessories - leaving the batteries in accessories - and our tech team will inspect the system. Please note if batteries etc have been tampered with or are missing we will send the system back to you as is. Our tech team need to inspect the system as it was when you had it to replicate the issues. If there are issues found we will refund your money, less any postage costs and may also incure costs listed above for missing packaging, damaged pieces etc. If there are no issues found and the problem is user fault we will not refund the system and send the system back to you (postage at your cost).
